I was a great morning of professional learning with my colleagues in Zeeland today. We heard from classroom teachers sharing their knowledge and experiences in areas relevant to our teaching lives.
Thank you to Sandy for extending our understanding of reading response with examples from your daily classroom life. Thank you to Erika and Bobbe for sharing your journeys in creating a reading workshop in your K and 1st classrooms. Thank you to Kip for your collaboration with google reader and for sharing blog suggestions, articles and directions for getting started.Thank you to Mary for the good reminders about makes a difference for kids in the classroom.
In addition, thank you to all of the other teachers who lead sessions today that I was very sorry to miss.
It was a meaningful day! Happy Thanksgiving!
